These terms cover using this website. They are separate from the agreement that covers paid work, which is the written scope and price agreed before any project starts. Where the two differ, the project agreement is the one that governs the work.
Using this site
You are welcome to read anything here, quote it with attribution, and share it. What you should not do is copy it wholesale and republish it as your own, or use the site in a way that interferes with it working for other people.
The advice on this site is general
Articles and service pages describe approaches that worked on specific sites in specific situations. They are not a recommendation for your site, which I have not seen. Search engines also change how they work without notice, so something accurate when written may not stay accurate.
If you act on something here and it does not work out, that is on you rather than on me. If you want advice that accounts for your actual situation, that is what an audit is, and it comes with someone who has looked at your site.
No guarantees about results
Nothing on this site promises a ranking, a traffic figure or a revenue outcome, and nothing here should be read as promising one. Case studies describe what happened on those projects. They are evidence of how I work, not a forecast for anyone else.
Ownership
The writing, design and code on this site belong to SEO Maxing. Names and trademarks of the businesses mentioned in the case studies belong to those businesses and appear here to describe work that was done for them.
Links to other sites
Where this site links somewhere else, that site is not under my control and I am not responsible for what it does or says. A link is a pointer, not an endorsement of everything on the other end of it.
Availability
I try to keep this site online and correct, but I do not promise it will always be available or entirely free of errors. If you find something wrong on a page, telling me through the contact page is genuinely useful and it will get fixed.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the site changes. The version published here is the one that applies. How your data is handled is covered separately in the privacy policy.
