Work

Flagship projects showing strategy, build and SEO working as one system.

Three projects, three different problems. One earned visibility in a category owned by bigger publishers, one moved a business to a new brand and domain without losing what the old one had built, and one made publishing at volume survivable. Each case study below sets out what was actually wrong, what got built, and what happened afterwards.

What the three have in common

None of them started with a keyword list. Each started with a question about the business: who is supposed to find this site, what do those people already type, and what is the site currently doing that gets in the way of them arriving. The keyword work came after that, because it is much easier to choose targets once you know who you are trying to reach.

The other thing they share is that the search strategy and the WordPress build were the same job. On every one of these projects the person who found the problem was also the person who fixed it. That is the main reason the fixes shipped instead of sitting in a document waiting for a developer to be briefed.

What you can read into the numbers, and what you cannot

HairIsCurly and ArticleThirteen have measured results, and the figures on their pages come from Search Console rather than a summary written afterwards. HairIsCurly passed 1.1 million image search impressions by treating images as a search channel rather than decoration, and in the most recent measured period its web clicks rose 37.5 percent and impressions 26.2 percent. ArticleThirteen reached 2,000 search clicks in a 28 day period, arrived at through four consecutive periods of growth from 1,200.

Imperial Fruits has no numbers, and that is deliberate. The build and the brand migration are finished, the move went live with roughly thirty minutes of downtime, and the content phase has not started yet. There is nothing honest to report on traffic or revenue, so the page says so. A case study that claims results a project has not produced is worth less than one that admits where it is.

How the work usually starts

Two of these three began as a diagnosis rather than a build. Looking at what a site is already doing tends to be cheaper than guessing, and it often changes the plan: the highest-value fix is frequently something nobody had thought to look at. If you want the same starting point for your own site, the SEO audit and roadmap is the version of that work you can buy on its own, and the services page covers what happens after it.
